Get A Washington Apples License Plate

Plates have a first-year purchase price of $77.25 each through the Washington State Department of Licensing. Renewals are $30 each year. $28 of your first-year purchase and each renewal support WAEF!

Follow these quick steps to get your Washington Apples license plate:

1. Download and complete the application. Application
2. Print and sign the application.
3. Prepare your check addressed to WA DOL. Specialty plates cost $77.25 in the first year. If you would like to renew your tabs at the same time you purchase new plates, please contact a vehicle licensing office to get an exact cost. List of local vehicle licensing office contacts.
4. Applications may be mailed to the address on the form or dropped off at your local vehicle licensing office. Processing time for mailed application is about 3 weeks currently. Plates ordered through a local vehicle licensing office are generally delivered in 5-7 days. Hours and locations of local licensing offices are noted on the link.
